Outside recess fitting describes blinds that hang outside of the window recess.
For inside recess fitting the manufacturers will require the size of the recess (and not the size of the blind). The manufacturers will make the blind to fit into the window recess.
The recommended fitting method for sliding blinds is fix swivel brackets every 50cm. The headrail of the sliding blind then hangs from the swivel brackets.
